Gen AI Text-to-UI-design is finally here! Will it make UI/UX designer jobless?
We have the honour to get the early access for an AI tool this morning. We used ChatGPT 4o to generate the prompt to design a banking app for us to put into the tool, have a look on the outcome which is quite amazing!

A few limitations we observed:
– The prompt limit of 500 characters are too short to generate a full app design
– It doesn’t come with memory, everytime it gives me a new app name
– It didn’t have the capabilities to connect the features nicely, like using navigation, tab bar, side menu and so on
With the AI generated output, it can empower our UI/UX designers to focus on more higher value tasks where AI can’t help, let the AI to handle the simpler tasks, instead of replacing them.
As Fei-Fei Li wisely said, “AI won’t replace humans, but humans who use AI will replace humans that don’t”
